About Department
Electronics and Telecommunication sector revolutionised the world. World is moving towards the fth generation of mobile communication, the backbone of Smart cities is wireless communication. This has resulted into ever increasing demand for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers in India and abroad.
To cater the requirements of the communication industries, the department offers excellent infrastructure and resources in the form of knowledgeable faculty and a library having a vast collection of informative books.
The laboratories have state-of-the-art equipment like Spectrum Analysers, Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, High Frequency CRO and Radio Frequency Signal Generators and software tools like MATLAB, MultiSim, LabView etc.
The department has acquired expertise in the area of Electronic devices and circuits, Embedded System Design, Analog and Digital communication, Wireless Communication and Networks, Optical Communication and Networks, Antenna and RF System Design.
To enhance industry interaction our department has collaborated with Texas Instruments (TI) university program and eYantra (in association with IIT Bombay).
TI University program is a global program dedicated to support educators, researchers and students in facilitating inclusion of TI, Analog and Embedded processing in academic practices.
eYantra aims to enhance the knowledge and interest of the students in the area of Robotics and thus will act as a bridge between theoretical and practical aspects of real life problems.

ICETATS-2019 aims to explore growing advancements in the fields of Automation and Telecommunication and provides a common platform to leading scientists, academicians, researchers, industry professionals and students to share their research experiences and views. Participants are invited to submit their research/review papers as per the tracks of the conference. This conference offers a real opportunity to discuss the challenges and advanced enabling solutions in the new era of Automation and Telecommunication research reforms. It would help to shape new trends in Technology for the development of human mankind as a whole

  • The authors are requested to strictly follow and adhere to the prescribed template and page restrictions.
  • Papers submitted to ICASTE 2019 should be written in the English language and can be a minimum of FOUR pages long and a maximum of SIX pages long (papers that are less than 4 pages long or more than 6 pages long will not be considered for review). This limit is inclusive of all text, figures, tables, acknowledgements, references, and appendices.
  • While uploading the paper, the authors should provide the title of the paper, an abstract of no more than 250 words, and keywords in the respective text boxes in the paper submission page.
  • Full paper needs to be submitted for presentation at the conference as an oral or poster presentation. Oral/ poster presentation will not be allowed without submission of full paper.
  • Each paper will be peer-reviewed by experts in the field for originality, contribution and soundness.
  • The authors may choose to publish the paper for publication in journals, the decision whether to publish the full paper in journals after peer review is left to the discretion of the authors.
  • Multiple submission of the same paper should be avoided. Papers must not be submitted to more than one conference or journal at the same time.
  • We are currently in contact with different journals for publication of papers presented in the conference. The list of the same will be updated in this website.

    About Thane

    Thane is a northern district of Konkan Maharashtra. Known as 'Cacade De Tana', its original name being Sristhanaka, named after Lord Ganpati, also known as the ‘City of Lakes’ It is one of the most popular metropolitan cities in India. Being a residential suburb of Mumbai, Thane has number of large industrial complexes of chemicals, engineering products, and textiles. Along with being the headquarter of the taluka and the district, it also has many historical buildings,including a fort and several churches.
